About Christian Coaching

Authentic Christian coaching integrates a biblical worldview as well as Godly purposes into one’s life design and the road ahead. It is, indeed, a powerful Godly relationship between two people of God.
Essentially, one helps the other to design and achieve his/her goals and ambitions. In this process, the coach gently challenges, clarifies, assists and sponsors the other as the client transition from ‘here’ to ‘there.’ ‘There’ is a place where God wants them to be, and therefore Christian coaching is linked to living the Christian life and pursuing God’s purposes.
To get ‘there’ usually involves four main steps (Collins):
- Awareness, ‘where are we now?’
- Vision, ‘where do we want to go to?’
- Strategy and action, ‘how are we going to get there?’
- Obstacles, ‘what is in our way and what are we going to do about it?’
In this sense, Christian coaching focusses on fulfilment, possibilities, solutions, enhanced performance, team building, vision casting, growth and goals. The Christian coach and his/her client are working as equals together as people of God toward the client’s God directed goals.
Consequently, FaithCoach is of the opinion that Christian coaching process is grounded in the Word of God, professionally done, ethical and has a great chance of success.
