The power of relationships

PowerOfRelationships

Have you noticed the two ways people experience their relationships?

The first group of people will tell a life story of success. They can be financially secure, set in their careers, and pursuing their goals. Yet, when they walk into my office, they state that “My whole life is falling apart.” The reason: A significant relationship is under pressure.

Then there is the second group of people. When I go out to meet them, I fully expect them to complain. I know for a fact that they are experiencing challenging circumstances. It may be financial, drought, or some other calamity that they must live through. Often, I have been amazed when I find them living gratefully within these circumstances. Upon my inquiring about the reason for their inner strength they acknowledge the strength of their relationships. Both these groups of people recognize the power of relationships.   When you strengthen your relationships the quality of your life significantly improves.
